You are tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You react more sharply than you want to. You look in the mirror and your body seems changed. You can't remember the last time you simply felt good.

You've explained it to yourself as a phase. As something you have to accept or push harder against. "This isn't me." Pressure and shame because everyone else seems to manage better.

It is not your fault. These are signals from a system under pressure — not from a person falling short.

That is not a lack of insight. And it is not a lack of willpower. Often you actually need to do less. These are signs of a system stuck on two levels at once — and that calls for two lenses at once.

Professional background

I do hold a Bachelor in Orthopedagogy, with additional post-graduate Medical Basic Knowledge and training in clinical Psycho-Neuro-Immunology (cPNI).

My practice is accredited by MBOG, SCAG and RBCZ.

But what I always write in red ink on my diploma is this:

I am 50 years old. That means I have had to meet and reveal several women and facets within myself. It's not been always pretty but I discovered some things along the way. My body has changed with each one stage, and carries and tells the story.

Daughter, mother, sister, friend, wife, widow. Expat, business owner, and very often taxi driver for my 2 wonderful kids. I understand.

You function. But you never truly recover.

What cPNI sees

Clinical Psycho-Neuro-Immunology examines how stress physiology, hormones, immune function and behaviour work as one whole. Not symptom by symptom — but as a pattern.

Chronic load leaves traces in how you sleep, how you regulate energy, how your immune system responds. Those traces are measurable. They are also reversible — but only if you approach them as a system, not as isolated complaints.

cPNI answers the question: what does prolonged stress do to the body?

What orthopedagogy adds

My background in Orthopedagogy informs how I understand behavior — as something that adapts to load, context, and physiological capacity (think neurodivergence as example).How people react, adapt, compensate and get stuck when their environment or system asks too much. I look not only at what someone does, but at why they keep doing what they do, even when it no longer works.

That is depth that purely physiological work sometimes misses. A protocol that supports the body but ignores the pattern behind it will sooner or later hit the same wall.

Orthopedagogy answers the question: what keeps someone locked in that pattern?

The body keeps track of what the mind tries to control. But the mind repeats what it has never learned to do differently. Both questions deserve an answer.

Why the combination works

The combination means we do not choose between those two questions. We do not choose between versions of ourselves. We ask both. We embrace all. And we work on the answer as one whole — not as parallel trajectories.
